Dorothy Arnold Scholarship Application Eligibility

The Dorothy N. Arnold Scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior at Central High School residing in the Chesterfield County School District area in South Carolina. Mrs. Dorothy Nix Arnold was a notable leader, community advocate, educator, and prominent public figure in the community of Chesterfield County. She impacted many lives with her warm spirit, willingness to help others, wisdom and knowledge. In her honor, we would love to celebrate her legacy centered on Education and Empowerment. The award amount is $500 and will be sent directly to the institution to be applied to the student’s account in August Fall of 2026.

Eligibility Criteria:
MUST BE A GRADUATING SENIOR FROM CENTRAL HIGH SCHOOL

MUST LIVE IN THE CHESTERFIELD COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT ZONE

PERFORM 15 HOURS OF COMMUNITY SERVICE WITH SIGNATURE OF COMPLETION ON LETTERHEAD FROM ORGANIZATION

CUMULATIVE GPA OF 2.0 OR HIGHER

MUST SHOW A FINANCIAL NEED

LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION FROM AN EDUCATOR OR INFLUENCER IN YOUR COMMUNITY

SUBMIT AN ESSAY ON HOW YOUR DREAMS & GOALS WILL MAKE AN IMPACT ON A LIFE
